The new website is http://usingwindows.ej.am. It is so cool! Please go there. This is the last transition. You can expect more of the “Using Windows” site in the future.

If you haven’t heard by now, firmware update 1.60 for the PS3 has been released! I think this is the exciting March firmware update everyone was looking for. It introduces background downloading, the Folding@Home project, WMA playback, improved connectivity with PSP, full keyboard, and more! My two favorites are background downloading and the Folding@Home project. There’s nothing like helping out your community! Hopefully, this update and future ones will continue to help the Playstation 3, since it had a rough start.

You might of heard it by now, but Google may be planning to make a cell phone using Google’s Talk feature. These are just rumors, but if Google does really unveil the phone, will it be a competitor to major cell phone companies, and the iPhone?

A workaround in Vista can postpone activation for a year. Microsoft says that this is a “hack.” It allows modifying the registry, so use caution. I am not responsible for any trouble this registry hack will cause. Use at your own risk!

Sony revealed that it will be releasing a “Second Life” for the PS3, all FREE! You will have a 3D environment to roam in, your own apartment to store things, and you can access it from your PS3 (or PSP). More details to come.

While I am currently working out which wiki I should choose, I want to let you know that I currently have three wikis. At the end, I will choose one of them to be the official wiki. The links are:

1. The wiki that’s on my site. It’s not the one I’ll be choosing, since I have little knowledge of PHP and other programming languages.
2. The wiki that’s a notch higher on my list. This wiki works, and it is hosted on another site for free. Nice.
3. The wiki that’s top on my list at the moment. This wiki has all the benefits of the last one and wraps it all up in a wonderfully customizable user interface, more classic look, and looks more like Wikipedia, which most should be familiar with and be able to start using right away.

In the next couple of weeks, I will choose one of these wikis to be the official “Using Windows” wiki!
